Our ‘Pledge’ to clients, their family and friends:
Good Companions Accompanied Travel Service has always had the safety, health and well being of clients at the fore front of everything we do. Now, more than ever, we are constantly developing and updating our client services to be ‘Covid Safe’ and to minimise the risks associated with travelling to visit loved ones or in taking a holiday.
We are confident in advising clients that no matter the reason for travel, such as having a much needed ‘short break‘, enjoying a relaxing ‘staycation’ or ‘getting away from it all overseas’ we will be with you to keep you safe, healthy, happy and informed at all junctions of your trip or holiday. I.e. planning, booking, during travel, and at all times until you are safely home again.
We have partner hotels, B&Bs and private accommodation providers who are all involved in ‘Covid Safe’ planning to keep people safe and to minimise risk the risk of health issues whilst away from home.
* For your safety and comfort at all times we are committed to providing the highest level of ‘Covid Safe’ service practices in line with Government advice and our own ’benchmark’ standards both at home base and overseas.
Below is our 7 point plan developed to comply to all the above statements in our Pledge.
*7 Point Plan:
1) Our trained Companions will be wearing PPE when visiting or travelling with you. They will also adhere to strict hygiene practices and carry antibacterial wipes, face masks and gloves for frequent use whilst visiting and travelling with clients.
2) Good Companions Accompanied Travel Service will endeavour to keep a good stock of face masks and hand gel for the personal use of our clients. Naturally we will have our usual First Aid packs on hand and ensure that our accommodation providers do too.
3) We will provide you with advice on which countries and regions are safest to visit and let you know the best times of the year to travel to your chosen destination. We usually travel ‘off season’ anyway to avoid crowds and for affordability and comfort.
4) Good Companions Accompanied Travel Service will be checking and updating travel advice from home base and overseas via reputable Travel Agents, Airlines and Government sources. We will endeavour to keep you up to date with travel rules, regulations and restrictions at all times enabling you to make ‘informed’ choices.
5) Good Companions will help you to keep safe during travel and on holiday by adhering to ‘Social Distancing’ measures at outdoor and indoor venues and tourist attractions.
6) Good Companions Accompanied Travel Service will be adhering to travel regulations in terms of ensuring temperature checks and ‘Covid Tests’ for both clients and companions where appropriate or mandatory. I.e. At Airports, shops or restaurants.
7) Wherever possible Good Companions Accompanied Travel Service will be ‘by your side’ to ensure smooth and comfortable travel arrangements and adherence to ‘Covid Safe Practices’ thus enabling you to relax, have fun and enjoy your travel and holidays.
